Mount Meru Treaking

 Mount meru is the second highest mountain in Tanzania with  elevation of 4566m above the sea level. Is possible to hike meru for three or four days depending on your time healthy and budget.

Here is Three or Four days itinerary for Mount Meru Trek.

Day 0: Arrive at Arusha or Moshi town, meeting your guide and company stuff for equipment cherking and  Breafing for day one and knowing each other.

Day 1: 

Pick up from the hotel to Momela gate, here after registrations our driver will driver you to Ngongare gate where the walking is normally starts. On the way to Ngongare gate you will have chance to enjoy a short game drive and witnessing the wild animal at their nomal habitat "little  Serengeti." At Ngongare gate you will join armed Ranger together with guide and now the walking will start all the way to Miriakamba camp for the first nigh by passing through "Uwanja wa mbogo" where Buffaloes are very close to observe.

Day 2: 

Today the walking will starts at elevation 3500m  at 8:00 after breakfast to Saddle camp at elevation of 4500m. After lunch the hike of little meru will be important for acclimatization befor having early dinner. During dinner you'll join your guide for summit breafing and preparation. At the midnight after seven to eight hours of rest the summit battle is going to begin by the lead of our professional and experienced guide.

Day 3

After summit enjoying sunrise🌅 that whipping the pain of summits scrambles now the descent is starting to Saddle again. For three days trekkers you'll have one hour for breakfast and rest before descending all the way to Ngongare gate for picking up to hotel. 

For four days trekkers from summit to saddle then here the hours of rest and brekfast will be 3 or 4 then the hiking down will start all the way to miriakamba for third nigtn.

Day 4

From Miriakamba hut to  Ngongare gate. Here you will have crew photos, tipping and then our company driver will pick you and drive to the hotel for hot shower and rest.
